clark Hall: Student Housing & Amenities

Clark Hall is a suite-style residence hall. It is a four person suite and includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a shared living room. Amenities included in the suite common area are a television, refrigerator, microwave, loveseat, chairs, kitchen table, and a small kitchenette (sink and cabinets). In each of the bedrooms, the beds can be raised or lowered to your preference. Included in the bedroom per student are a set of drawers, desk and chair, and a wardrobe. In Clark Hall, other amenities include a theater room, full kitchen with seating, study lounge, and a laundry room. The third floor also houses our all-gender living-learning community. Clark Hall is named for the heroic Revolutionary War commander George Rogers Clark, who led a small force of frontiersmen through the freezing waters of the Illinois country to capture British-held Fort Sackville at Vincennes during February of 1779.

Floor Layout: Clark Hall at Vincennes University offers a co-ed living arrangement Typically the hall is separated by gender on a floor-by-floor basis. In Clark Hall, the third floor also houses our all gender learning community.

- In-Suite: Individually climate-controlled suites, Two separate bedrooms (each shared by two students), two private bathrooms (shared by only two students each), a shared living area, a small kitchenette (with a sink and cabinets), kitchen table, kitchen chairs,a loveseat, television, refrigerator, microwave.

- Common Areas: A full kitchen with seating, study areas, and a theater room.
- Technology: These rooms are equipped with an internet port (Ethernet), along with Wi-Fi access.and adjustable thermostat for climate control.
- Laundry: A laundry room is located within the hall, and the cost of usage is included in the housing fees.

Clark Hall is centrally located on campus, providing convenient access to essential student hubs:

Dining: Clark Hall is located near Tecumseh Dining Center.
Recreation: It is a short walk to the Student Recreation Center, which houses weight rooms, basketball courts, and the aquatic center.
Academic Support: It is a short walk to the main academic buildings and resource centers, like the Shake Learning Resources Center (the campus library).
