Ebner Hall: Student Housing & Amenities

Ebner Hall is a suite-style residence hall, but instead of a traditional two students to one bedroom approach, there are actually six to eight single-student bedrooms centered around a shared living room in the suite. Included in the living room is a television, a table, chairs, and a small entertainment center. In the bedrooms the beds can be lofted or lowered to your preference. Furniture included along with the bed is a dresser, desk, small closet, and chair. Every floor contains a bathroom, kitchen, and a laundry room for students of that floor to use. Only students enrolled in Technology/STEM based majors can live in Ebner Hall, where they will have the convenience of living in the building where a majority of their classes are held. The College of Technology building is on the first and second floors where Ebner Hall is located. The building is named for a leading pioneer industrialist, John Ebner, who operated the Hack and Simon Brewery until the coming of national prohibition, and once was home to the Ebner Ice Storage Co.

Amenities:
- In-Room: Single bedroom (six to eight single student bedrooms in a “pod”) Bedroom Furnishings: (lofted/lowered, dresser, desk, small closet, and a chair), students can have one mini-fridge and microwave per room.
- A shared living room with television, a table, chairs, and a small entertainment center.
- Common Areas: Residents have access to a bathroom and a kitchen on every floor.
- Technology: These rooms are equipped with an internet port (Ethernet), along with Wi-Fi access.
- Laundry: A laundry room is located within the hall on every floor, and the cost of usage is included in the housing fees.

Ebner Hall is centrally located on campus, providing convenient access to essential student hubs:

Integrated Building: A major convenience of Ebner Hall is that the residence areas are located in the same building as many of the classes for these majors. The College of Technology building occupies the first and second floors, with the three residence hall floors of Ebner Hall above them.
