Steve Beaman is the Associate Director for Communications and Donor Relations. He
joined the Foundation & Alumni Association in January of 2023.
Steve, who is a graduate of Vincennes University ('98), brings with him nearly thirty
years of experience in the Sport and Recreation field, spending the last sixteen years
as Superintendent for the City of Vincennes Parks Department. His career has heavily
involved donor engagement, fundraising, annual campaigns, and sponsorships. He knows
how vital the role of the Foundation office is to the overall success of the University.
It allows individuals—whether alumni, friends, companies, foundations, or family—the
opportunity to take their passion and turn it into gifts that benefit students and
the University for years to come.
Beaman and his wife Donna reside in Vincennes. They have three sons and two wonderful
grandchildren. His family also has a strong connection with Vincennes University,
as Donna, their son Jake ('15), and his wife Caitlin ('15), whom Jake met right here
at VU, are all VU alumni.
