BACHELOR DEGREES

Education - Mathematics, B.S.

Students can earn a bachelor’s of arts or a bachelor’s of science degree in Mathematics Education. Graduates are eligible to take the Indiana licensing exam to become math teachers for grades 5 to 12. Indiana has reciprocal licensure agreements with more than 30 states.



ASSOCIATE DEGREES

Education - Mathematics, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Mathematics Education, preparing them to enter the University’s bachelor’s degree program in education or to transfer to another university.

Students can earn an associate degree in Education-Mathematics Concentration, which prepares graduates for careers in education in grades 7-12 and for transfer to a four-year university.

Engineering Science - Actuarial Science and Mathematics Concentration, A.A.

Students can earn an associate degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics. Actuaries work in a variety of fields, including banking and insurance, to determine and manage risk. The program prepares students for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program. Students should check requirements of their chosen transfer institution before choosing a concentration in this program.

Engineering Science - Actuarial Science and Mathematics Concentration, A.S. Transfer

Actuaries determine and manage risk. They work in a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, government, and marketing. The program is designed for graduates to transfer to a four year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
