Education - Mathematics, B.S.

Students can earn a bachelor’s of arts or a bachelor’s of science degree in Mathematics Education. Graduates are eligible to take the Indiana licensing exam to become math teachers for grades 5 to 12. Indiana has reciprocal licensure agreements with more than 30 states.

Students can earn an associate degree in Education-Mathematics Concentration, which prepares graduates for careers in education in grades 7-12 and for transfer to a four-year university.

Engineering Science - Actuarial Science and Mathematics Concentration, A.A.

Students can earn an associate degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics. Actuaries work in a variety of fields, including banking and insurance, to determine and manage risk. The program prepares students for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program. Students should check requirements of their chosen transfer institution before choosing a concentration in this program.
