Specialized responder courses scheduled at Vincennes University

VINCENNES, Ind.— VanMor Agency, a specialist rope rescue and confined space service provider, and Vincennes University Business & Industry are training Indiana first responders and safety professionals in Rope Rescue and Confined Space Training programs starting Jan. 10 in Vincennes.
The course serves as test preparation for Indiana first responders seeking multiple certifications through the state of Indiana. Training topics include:
- Basic rope safety principles
- Rope equipment & systems
- Low & high angle rescues
- Life safety knots
- Anchor systems
- Victim packaging techniques
- Confined space safety principles
- NFPA 1006
- Rescue equipment & systems
