Media Advisory: VU to host “End of the Line: The Women of Standing Rock” screening
and discussion

WHAT:
November is National Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate and honor the rich cultures and traditions of Native American peoples.
The Vincennes University Humanities Film and Lecture Series, Vincennes University Office of Global Engagement, and Wabash Valley Progressives invite you to a FREE screening of the film, “End of the Line: The Women of Standing Rock.” The event is free and open to the public.
The film tells the story of a group of indigenous women who risk their lives to stop the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, which jeopardizes their land, water, and entire way of life.
The Emmy-winning director of the film, Shannon Kring, will lead a discussion following the film.
Light refreshments will be served. Ample parking is available.
