InternPLUS AMT program welcomes Berry Global as newest corporate sponsor

VINCENNES, Ind. - Vincennes University’s InternPLUS Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program welcomes Berry Global as its newest corporate partner. A hometown company based in Evansville, Berry has grown into a leading global provider of innovative protection solutions.

The VU AMT program includes a two-year degree in Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technology/Industrial Maintenance. It combines cutting-edge curriculum and paid work experience with technical skills that are highly sought by leading manufacturers. The program provides an opportunity for student interns to gain valuable, paid, real-world experience that could cover the cost of their schooling.
Berry Global is the latest company to join other AMT corporate partners that include Metal Technologies, ThyssenKrupp, Toyota Boshoku America, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana. These partners are members of Indiana FAME, Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education. FAME strives to be a powerful conduit between industry and education, thus developing world-class talent for manufacturing and other employers of technical workers.
