What can I expect during my time at VU?
- The program is designed for non-traditional students who have already attained Journeyman status or equivalent in a skilled trade.
- Students can receive up to 24 credit hours for completing Technology On the Job Training (TOJT) courses.
- In addition to the TOJT courses, students will need to complete 6 credit hours of electives in humanities, mathematics, science, social science, writing, or fitness/wellness.
- The program is estimated to take 30 credit hours to complete.
- Students will pay $25.00 per credit hour for major program requirements.
What can I do with this degree?
The certificate is designed for students who have attained Journeyman status or equivalent in a skilled trade and wish to fulfill the basic requirements for a Certificate of Graduation. The certificate is intended to enhance career advancement opportunities within a student's existing trade.
