  • The Education - Secondary Grades 9-12, A.S. program at Vincennes University is a two-year program leading to an Associate of Science degree.
  • This program is designed to be the first two years of a four-year program that leads to licensing as a teacher of subject matter in secondary school (grades 9-12).
  • Students in this program will undertake a core set of required courses while also choosing a minimum of 12 credit hours of subject area coursework.
  • Subject areas include: Agriculture, Earth Sciences, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Art, English, Modern Foreign Language, Family and Consumer Sciences, Journalism, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology
  • This program satisfies the Secondary Education Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) created under Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 182 passed in 2013.
