ABOUT THIS DEGREE
This intensive one-year program is designed to prepare graduates for gainful employment as an entry-level manufacturing assistant. Emphasis is placed on various technology skills required for employment in the manufacturing industry such as the use of power tools, mechanical drives, basic machine shop operations, and safety. Graduates of this program may receive advanced placement into the Advanced Manufacturing-Automation Technology 8480 AS/Career Tech degree.
