I am on my third career, and this one is my favorite one by far. I was drawn to English because I enjoy communicating with people and making connections. I have been teaching English at Vincennes University since 2011, and in that time, I have met a variety of great students, many of whom did not believe themselves capable of quality writing. I am here to tell you that writing is a skill that anyone can learn. Do you like grammar? No? Well, neither did I. Do you have trouble coming up with the “right” way to say something in print? I’ve been there! You don’t have to be Shakespeare to produce a clear message. I look forward to working with you if you want to learn!
When I’m not teaching, I am working on videos for my health and wellness-focused YouTube Channel, Midwestern Method. I am also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and I was one of the first people in the world to train under 26 World Record Holder, Wim Hof, to become a Wim Hof Method Instructor. I specialize in teaching breathwork, cold training, and meditation in the Midwest. I am fascinated with the way the human body and mind work.
I am a proud father and husband in a wonderful family. We are a growing family, but
not in the way that most are. Our family is growing through adoption! In 2016, my
wife and I became foster parents, and in 2018 we adopted our first child. What a journey
it has been and continues to be!
I look forward to working with you!
