Dr. Ragle’s passion for education took her far, inspiring her to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana, a Graduate Certificate in TESL/TEFL, and ultimately a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana State University. She holds professional teaching licenses in both Indiana and Illinois, meaning she deeply understands what it takes to build an incredible classroom experience.

In 2018, her journey came full circle when she stepped into the role of Dean. Today, she works closely with faculty and staff to ensure that every program under her wing gives you the modern tools, real-world skills, and personal confidence you need to stand out.

Her Philosophy: You First

College can feel like a massive leap, but Dr. Ragle’s entire approach is built on creating a supportive, empathetic, and genuine space where you can thrive.

"My ultimate goal is to empower students, providing them with the tools and confidence to navigate their educational journey."

To her, success isn't just about a grade on a transcript; it is about building a community where you feel heard, encouraged, and equipped to clear any hurdle.

Beyond the Desk

When she isn't working hard to champion student initiatives, Dr. Ragle loves hitting the "refresh button" by getting outside. You will often find her getting her hands dirty working in her yard and garden, or taking long daily walks with her husband to clear her head.

Oh, and a quick insider tip for anyone looking to chat with the Dean: she is a total foodie! Whether she is whipping up a complex new recipe at home or discovering a hidden gem at a local restaurant, finding a great new spot to eat is always a win in her book. If you spot her on campus, feel free to share your favorite local restaurant recommendation!
