This curriculum is designed for students wishing to complete the first two years of
a four-year program leading to licensing as a secondary education teacher in English.
Students can earn an associate degree in English, which prepares graduates for transfer
to a four-year university and sets the foundation for careers in education, law, writing,
and library and information sciences.
Students can earn an associate degree in Education with an English concentration,
which prepares students for transfer to a four-year university and for careers as
Language Arts and English teachers.
