Experience Vincennes University during this weeklong, hands-on, college experience designed specifically for JAG students. Students participating in the JAG Summer Academy will have the full Vincennes University experience while living in one of the Vincennes University residence halls. Students at the JAG Summer Academy will be divided into two groups - the JAG Experience will allow graduating high school seniors the opportunity to earn college credit during the week while high school juniors will take part in the JAG Trailblazers group which focuses on leadership development.

JAG seniors will receive instruction in college success strategies such as time management, note taking, test taking strategies, utilizing campus resources, and stress management techniques. These seniors will complete a final class project with the opportunity to earn free college credit from Vincennes University. JAG juniors will receive instruction during the week in career exploration, career planning, exploring postsecondary education opportunities, team collaboration, and leadership development.

All students participating in the Vincennes University JAG Summer Academy will participate in group social activities, service learning projects, and a campus scavenger hunt. All students will be recognized during an end of week awards ceremony. Students will finish the week with a free trip to Holiday World and Splashing Safari.
