Mission Statement

The Blazers Achieve program increases retention and graduation, fosters independent growth through student-centered services for first-generation, income-eligible, and/or students with disabilities.


Vision Statement

Blazers Achieve collaborates to foster student success, leadership, and autonomy through the University Experience class, workshops, mentoring, and coaching. The Blazers Achieve Team strive to eliminate barriers and encourage independence and lifelong learning through evidence-based strategies, academic support, financial awareness, soft skills, executive function skills, and personal and social development services.

Student of the Semester

The Blazers Achieve Program established the Student of the Semester Award in Spring 2016.  This award acknowledges students who are active in the Blazers Achieve program, remain in good academic standing, and utilize the tutoring and other services offered by the program.
