I think the partnership between VU and UE is great; I had a seamless transition and both schools prepared me well for my career as a civil engineer. In my time at VU, the course work was challenging and rigorous; at times, it was probably more difficult when I compared my studies to friends at other universities. My professors at VU and then at UE made all the difference for me. They were encouraging and willing to help me further my understanding of basic engineering concepts. The small class atmosphere at VU and UE is very similar which allowed me to establish relationships with classmates and professors.
