After you are admitted as a student with Vincennes University, your Joint Services
Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript will need
sent to the Vincennes campus for processing.
Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard transcripts can be ordered from the JST WEBSITE. From the JST website, you will be able to choose Vincennes University from a drop-down
menu. Air Force transcripts are ordered from the COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF THE AIR FORCE.
The documents will be evaluated and entered into a specialized computer program. The
program matches your military training and MOS/AFSC/Rate with courses offered by Vincennes
University. The credit is awarded in accordance with the American Council on Education
(ACE) recommendations and in accordance with the courses offered in the current Vincennes
University catalog. There is no maximum amount of credit awarded, but only 45 credit
hours can be used towards completion of an Associate's degree.
The entire process, from receipt of the JST/CCAF to the credit being applied to your
transcript, will take a maximum of 4 weeks. Military transcript evaluations will not
be delayed waiting for transfer credit from other colleges.
The Military Education Program grows with you as you continue your career in the military.
When you are awarded a higher rank, move to a new MOS/Rate, or complete new training
schools, we will complete an updated evaluation of your credits with the submission
of an updated JST and add any additional credits to your Vincennes University transcript.
