Living on Campus

Vincennes University has seven residence halls. All students who are first-year students and under age 21 are required to live on campus during their first year at Vincennes University.  Private rooms are available but limited. In addition, to be considered for a private room, a pre-payment of $400.00 is required. Dormitory contracts are for one full academic year (August to May) and require a $150.00 deposit.

Once you have received your F-1 Student Visa, you may make your housing reservation by logging into your VU account (instructions sent via email) and completing the contract, housing and meal plan request, and make the deposit payment by credit card.  If you are unable to complete this process, you may do so upon arrival on campus.

*Please note: Specific housing assignments are made based upon the date your deposit is received. The earlier you submit the payment, the better chance you have at getting your preferred housing option.

The Residence Hall Linens program has been offered at VU for 16 years. Residence halls rooms have extra-long matresses the require specially sized sheets, blankets, and comforters. These extra-long beds (which are greater than 76 inches in length) are meant to maximize your student's comfort.

Dining Services of Vincennes University has worked hard to design a meal program guaranteed to meet your individual needs. 

There are a total of 19 weekly meals available in the Tecumseh Dining Center. This includes three meals daily, Monday through Friday with brunch and dinner offered on Saturday and Sunday.
