My primary role at Vincennes University is instruction and advising, which I have been doing since 2008. However, I started my social studies teaching career in 1999 in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Corporation, in North Carolina. During my career, I have been involved in teacher training, leading professional development sessions, curriculum and test writing for school system level and state level, department chair, grade-level chair, academic assistance team, various assessment projects, and various committee assignments. It is my goal to support teachers and students when and where needed.
